Future

The future with the Farmington Police Department will change as the town and the times change. We are looking forward to working with the citizens of Farmington. The only way for us to know how we are doing is through your input. Chief Roberge has an open door to citizens who wish to air their concerns and give us positive and negative feedback.

We have had new additions to the department over the last year, as many of you have probably noticed. Officer Kenneth Tilley has come to us with a background working as security at the Seabrook Power Plant. Officer Jonathan Swift has joined the Farmington Police Department after serving as a Full Time Dispatcher with the town of Wolfeboro New Hampshire. Officer Dean Raizes has joined the Police Department after serving with the Town of Greenland New Hampshire Police Department for 3 years. Officer Brendon June had joined the Police Force with a background in Loss Prevention. Sergeant Scott Ferguson has been promoted to Sergeant and is doing a great job. Lt. Willey has initiated a new program to the area with the help of Juvenile probation. The program named JOLT (Juvenile Offender Location Team)checks up on juvenile offenders and insures that they are complying with the rules of probation. It is a great success and many juveniles who could go astray are being helped and working towards the path of being a good citizen. Lt. Willey is planning to run the Citizens Academy again this fall.

You may also notice a new design on the Farmington Police Cruisers. After many years of the block logo design, Chief Roberge has come up with a new design that is more visible and attractive. This logoing is less expensive than the previous paint scheme and easier to replace. This is just another example of how Chief Roberge is working towards making the Town of Farmington even more attractive and fiscally responsible.
